Raytel Security Systems relationship with AquAid has also allowed us to help those less fortunate than ourselves as, with each purchase from them, an automatic donation is made to the Africa Trust.
The funds donated to the Africa Trust are used to build ‘Elephant Pumps’, which are a modified version of an age-old Chinese rope pulley system. One such pump is currently being installed in Africa on our behalf and will be a much-needed source of clean fresh drinking water for many.
Our organisation’s name will be proudly displayed on our well and we look forward to posting some photos of the villagers using the new well on our site soon.
AquAid has constructed over 8,000 Elephant Pumps across Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi and Liberia; and has donated over £16 million to charity. We wish them continued success with all their charity projects.
