Security Systems Business Development Manager - Full-time - £45,000 - £55,000 a yearJob Description Raytel Security are a distributor of door entry and access control systems for the UK market. We are now recruiting for a Business Development Manager. Essex based and established in 1979 with a great reputation within the security industry. The role has a clear progression path to managing the internal sales team and building the external team. How quickly this happens will be down to achieving targets. You must have experience in selling into either the security systems/construction industry. Main Duties:
- Follow up new business opportunities. (Generated by internal team)
- Manage new business enquiries
- Attend exhibitions and events
- Present/demonstrate door entry and access control solutions
- Manage key accounts
- Visit construction sites for surveys
- Security installer visits
- Focused on personal and professional development
- An out and out winner, driven, Passionate and ambitious
- Experience in selling into the construction industry
- Experience in dealing with Consultants, Designers and Engineers

Business Development Apprentice - Full-time - £11,000 a year (rising to £14,000*)Job Description We are looking for a Business Development Apprentice! Based in South Woodham Ferrers, Raytel Security was formed in 1979 and has been supplying exclusive brands of door entry and access control to the UK construction market. We are now on the search for a Business Development Apprentice to join the sales team and to help find new business opportunities within the security contractor’s market. The successful candidate starts their career in the Raytel sales office, contacting security and electrical contractors and working with them on solutions for projects. The experienced team in place will support and teach you how to design systems for residential, commercial, and local authority builds. You will have to liaise with all the different departments of the business, Administration, Accounts, Technical and Sales. Daily Duties:
- Contact new customers and introduce Raytel
- Prepare quotations for projects and promotions
- Liaise with accounts over email and telephone
- Learn how to use and demonstrate the products
- Update the CRM system (customer/account information)
- Follow-up quotations sent to customers
- Monday to Friday
- Chelmsford CM3 5WA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
